Primarily the here and nowness of living is a sensate experience rather than a conceptual one. Living solely in our heads we lack basic vitality and get lost in an internal soundtrack of mental commentary. Breath and movement are essential to life. Bringing focussed attention and consciousness to these reduces stress and brings a quality of presence that has enormous benefits to our mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health.
MIC regularly teach powerful, practical meditation, both in sitting and movement forms, that ground and integrate body, heart, mind and soul. We encourage body awareness and movement enquiry in all our courses and trainings.

Alain Allard is a registered UKCP psychotherapist. Sarah Pitchford is trained as a Laban movement therapist.
