Andrea JuhanAndrea Juhan Ph.D, has been a leader in the fields of bodywork, psychotherapy, and movement since 1981. Before becoming a founding faculty member of the Moving Center School, California, a 5Rhythms® organization which she co-directed for fourteen years, Andrea had the good fortune to spend her late teens and 20’s leading groups, teaching movement, studying Gestalt Awareness Practice, and practicing bodywork at the Esalen Institute. It was at Esalen that she first met Gabrielle Roth and fell in love with the 5Rhythms® 30 years ago.

Andrea has been on the faculty of the Rosenberg Institute for Integrative Body Psychotherapy (IBP) since 1982. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and maintained her own private practice in Marin County until 2002. She currently teaches IBP training and 5Rhythms® workshops internationally. When she’s not traveling and teaching 5Rhythms®, Andrea enjoys working on the home she’s made in the mountains of Big Sur, with her husband Vic and their son Tristan.

“Andrea is fearless in the face of emotion and has a vast well of compassion, love and joy which she shares openly with her students and fellow dancers.”
