Jamie Morgan is a Musician and Group Music Facilitator with a work ethos that has led him to serve an incredibly diverse and challenging array of scenarios and settings. From Slovenia to Oman and Inner City London to Northern Ireland with everybody from school children right up to the well elderly via the work place, youth offenders, families in crisis and much much more.
In this capacity Jamie’s experience has been one of awe and wonder at how rhythm unites, and not as something we are taught or consciously need to learn, but as something that can and will arise naturally given the right surroundings and atmosphere. This has born true in Corporate work/conference/teambuild type settings as much as it has in infant school ones, with everything in between. The learning opportunities are as diverse as the population, It is Jamie’s belief that rhythmical activity is archetypal and as such taps into deep wells of metaphorical, emotional, mental and physical learning possibilities within participants. Jamie considers himself a student of rhythm in service to the groups he works with. As a musician in that capacity he has played with many 5 rhythms movement teachers including founder Gabrielle Roth. He also plays and records as a guitar player with a passion for improvisational blues music.
“…humorous, engaging, participant centered and highly musical, (Jamie) encourages a sense of confidence and community within participants that offers a fantastic learning opportunity”

“The delegates loved the session, and after a night on the shandy Drum Café proved to be an excellent tonic to energise the teams for the following sessions!
I have to admit to being somewhat skeptical myself in advance, but Jamie and his fellow drummers were ‘pitch perfect’ and I would have no hesitation in recommending them again in future.
Hopefully we’ll work together again soon.”
